Hosta sieboldiana 'Elegans' has long been the standard in blue-leaved Hostas. The rounded leaves measure up to 12″ across and 30″ tall under good culture, and the gray-green shading on both sides adds greatly to their appeal. The flowers of 'Elegans' are whitish and show in midsummer on 40″ stems. Because this graceful beauty tolerates dry shade, we count it among the most valuable garden plants.
 
Huge foot-long, blue-gray, rounded leaves. They become heavily textured and corrugated as they mature; slug resistant. Blue leaf color is best achieved in light sun. White flowers bloom in clusters on 34" scapes in midsummer.
