Crocosmia 'Lucifer', also known as Montbretia, blooms in summer with brilliant, hummingbird attracting scarlet-red flowers on arching stems. Blooms last a long time, and are followed by showy seed heads in late summer to early fall. Green sword- shaped leaves form a clump.
