Coneflower 'Cone-Fections Lemon Drop'
Echinacea x 'Cone-Fections Lemon Drop'
1 gallon pot
Bright and sunny double yellow flowers appear mid-summer, and stand tall for butterflies and bees alike until mid-fall. Makes a great cut flower. Needs full sun to part shade in well drained soil.
Easy to grow and prolific bloomer. Deadheading will prevent seeding, but birds are crazy about the seeds, and the seedheads are attractive in the winter. If removing them, leave the foliage at the base of the plant to overwinter. May be slow to emerge in the spring. Coneflowers generally don't need to be divided, but can be divided in early spring or early fall.
